The days begins as the sky starts to lighten and the morning chorus of birdsong awakens you


Enjoy a cup of Zambian coffee or tea on the deck or outside your tents overlooking the dambo (natural water pan)


A great time to watch any early animal or bird arrivals at the dambo in front of camp, coffee in hand!

Game Drive

Depart for an early morning 3-4 hour game drive to site the Kafue wildlife and birds.

Visit the hides

Enjoy some time in the private hides at strategic points in the park

The Kafue Explorer

After breakfast and taking a packed lunch, enjoy an all day Kafue experience including a visit to the Elephant orphanage, a drive through the Ngoma Forest and Lake Itezhi-tezhi.


Enjoy a cooked or continental breakfast on the Nanzhila deck


Take a nap in the cool of your chalet over the heat of the day


Grab your binoculars and bird book and spend a time birdwatching in the trees that shade camp


Enjoy Zambian coffee or a G&T with scones on the deck

Bush Walk

Accompanied with an armed scout, enjoy a 3 hr safari walk focused more on the bird life and smaller fauna and flora

Night Drive

Start with an afternoon game drive before enjoying sundowners which is followed by a night drive seeking out some of the nocturnal species.


Meet around the bar for pre-dinner drinks


Enjoy a 3 course meal around the fire in the boma under the stars


Select a favourite nightcap or coffee and unwind
